THE SNOW GOOSE
Her hands ripped the russet clouds,
And her toes stirred the purple mists
That hung about the rocks.
The wind tore her laughter
Hollow from her mouth,
And carried the snow goose’s cry
Far across the diamond night.
Her hands ripped the russet clouds,
And her toes stirred the purple mists
That hung about the rocks.
The wind tore her laughter
Hollow from her mouth,
And carried the snow goose’s cry
Far across the diamond night.
